FOUNDATIONAL TRAINING AND SUPPORT

​At Home Watch Central we emphasize that professional home watchers need more than a cursory understanding of home maintenance.  Essential training in identifying common issues and understanding the dynamics of home systems across various regional climates significantly enhances their ability to prevent problems before they escalate into disasters.

In response to these challenges, we've created a robust foundational training program designed specifically for new home watch professionals. This curriculum we call the "Essentials Bundle" not only equips participants with the basic competency and confidence required to conduct thorough home checks, but also essential risk management tools.  Additional courses on marketing strategies, and best practices for networking effectively with real estate and insurance professionals for example are coming soon.

STANDARDS TO ELEVEATE YOUR BUSINESS

The home watch industry, while rapidly emerging, still struggles with a lack of standardization and definition. With no defined industry deliverables, it can be difficult for consumers to assess quality, understand what to expect or appreciate the value of using a trained, professional provider.  To this end, Home Watch Central has developed the industry's first Standards of Practice.  The purpose of these standards and specific elements included in the standards are available through the Standards of Practice Course.
